Leo Di Caprio - $39m
DiCaprio agreed to take a cut for his role in The Wolf Of Wall Street but still picked up $25m plus bonuses. His co-star Jonah Hill only got paid $60,000.DiCaprio's other movie last year, The Great Gatsby was another box office hit, raking in $351m at the box office.
Dwayne Johnson - $52m
The former wrestler (aka The Rock), is now a bona fide movie star thanks to the Fast & Furious franchise. He also picked up a $12m pay cheque for Hercules this year, boosting his earnings to $52m.
Bradley Cooper - $35m
Bradley, who is currently starring in a London stage version of The Elephant Man, earned an estimated $35 million this year through the Oscar nominated movie Sniper and also the third installment in the Hangover franchise which earned him $15m. He also gained acclaimed for 'smaller' roles in the Oscar nominated movies Silver Linings Playbook & American Hustle.
Jennifer Aniston - $15m
Aniston earned $15 million last year from films such as We're The Millers. She also earns as much from her product endorsements including Aveeno and Smartwater.
Cameron Diaz - $18m
Cameron Diaz earned $18 million last year, which isn't a surprise when you learn that her film The Other Woman grossed $194 million worldwide.
Scarlett Johansson - $17m
Scarlett Johansson earned $17 million last year following the success of her blockbuster female spy film Lucy.
Robert Downey Jr - $75m
As Iron Man's Tony Stark, Robert Downey Jr has been the driving force behind four of Marvel's biggest hits, including The Avengers which is the third highest-grossing movie of all time. Downey Jr. earned $75m last year from 7% of the profits from Iron Man 3. He also picked up $12m from endorsing mobile phone manufacturer HTC.
Liam Neeson - $40m
He will find you...When you need an actor with "a particular set of skills" then Liam Neeson is your man! Neeson earned over $20m for the third installment in the Taken franchise this year.
Jennifer Lawrence - $35m
Jennifer Lawrence earned $35 million this year largely due to her role in the latest Hunger Games movie. She's already signed up for the next two installments!
Mark Wahlberg - $32m
Wahlberg made a mint from 2012 comedy Ted. The comedy with the foul-mouthed talking bear made $550m for an outlay of just $50m. Ted 2 has just been released although early reports suggest it may not be as successful as its predecessor. But Wahlberg also has a thriving career as a TV producer. His company produced the TV hit Entourage, which has just been made into a movie, and Boardwalk Empire.
